Rotary Team Straka jumped into the Lake as part of the BEL Rotary Club's Polar Plunge

This afternoon a team of 4 Rotarians and our recently arrived Youth Exchange Student from Argentina jumped into Chemong Lake at the Bridgenorth Ennismore Lakefield Rotary Club's annual Polar Plunge.  In spite of 6" of snow over night and a light dusting of snow at the time, the temperature was between -1 & 1*C.   The Team raised approximately $3500. in pledges to be shared with 2 different school projects in Haiti.  Thank you Rotarians and friends across District 7010 who supported us.

When we find a photo of us in the lake, it will be posted!
